Cause honey your soul can never grow old, it’s evergreen
Baby your smile’s forever in my mind and memory
I’m thinking ’bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways
Maybe it’s all part of a plan
I’ll just keep on making the same mistakes
Hoping that you’ll understand
But baby now
Take me into your loving arms
Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars
Place your head on my beating heart
I’m thinking out loud
That maybe we found love right where we are, oh

Yesterday was our 10 year wedding anniversary! We got married on a Sunday afternoon in a small wedding. It was held on a Sunday afternoon because it had to work around our friend and pastor having to be in the County Fair parade. Can I tell you how much we laughed about this?
Our wedding was immediate family and close friends. Somehow our guest list was like 125 people with at least 100 guests being “immediate family” of my husband. He comes from a very large family. My family is small so we we were only like 10-15 people. It was a beautiful wedding with my 3 year old aka Fiyero (I don’t use my children’s real names in this blog) walking his mommy down the aisle. It was so cute. When we reached the front of the church, the pastor said “everyone please take your seat.” Fiyero says “Mommy! Sit down! Everyone else is sitting down”. It was so cute. Plus he held a little Diesel train in all of our wedding pictures. It was beautiful.

We never had good luck on anniversaries. This year, we managed to get Chinese food and celebrate at home with our kids. Perfect way to celebrate. Usually someone is having some tummy issues and we are trying to solve that. Last night, I ended up being a date to a wedding with my mom. It was fun. I was so thankful to have gone because the little girl who used to live next door to us was at this wedding. I hadn’t seen her in years. It was so wonderful to see her and reconnect.
What are your memories of your wedding? Did anything funny happen? Tell us all about it. I’m sure everyone can relate as a bride, groom, wedding party, guest and so on.
Lots of love to you all,
Jen
